Studio
Design and production at one table
Arttech is a design and production studio that carries theme park, museum, monument and stage projects from concept through to installation on site.
Studio
How we work
The method comes from sculpture practice: building a form by hand first, then carrying it up to scale. The same order holds at far larger scales.
A theme park structure and a museum diorama follow the same order. First you decide what is being told, then you dimension it, then you cast it in its material, and finally you install it in place.
Where design and production teams are separate, problems that looked solved on the drawing reappear in the workshop. Keeping the two together makes the project faster and brings the result closer to what was designed.
Mission
Our mission
To turn a project still at the idea stage into a lasting, safe structure — without losing the intent of the design somewhere in production.
Vision
Our vision
To be a studio where design and production run together, capable of carrying large projects at national and international scale.
Principles
How we work
- 01
Buildability
A design that cannot be built is not finished. We ask production questions while still drawing.
- 02
Sense of scale
The gap between a maquette and full size is the work itself. Scaling decisions are calculated, not guessed.
- 03
Material honesty
Every material behaves in its own way. We work with what it is rather than imitating what it is not.
- 04
Permanence
Work standing in public space is judged years later, not on handover day. We finish surfaces accordingly.
- 05
One point of contact
One process runs from concept to installation; responsibility is not scattered between stages.
- 06
Finished on site
Work ends when it is installed, not when it leaves the workshop. Final matching always happens in place.
Design
Design approach
We start from the site itself. Where a structure will be seen from, at what distance it will be read, and what surrounds it determine its scale and level of detail.
Several directions are explored at concept stage. The selected one is carried into dimensioned drawings and 3D models, so that what is approved and what is built are the same thing.
Production
Production approach
Production begins with the mould plan. How a large form divides into parts, and where transport, assembly and joint lines will fall, is decided at this point.
Material is chosen for where the work will stand and how long it must last. Surface finishing and patina are not the last step of production but a decision taken together with material selection.

The studio was founded in 1997. A detailed timeline is not yet published, as dated milestones have not been provided.
Let's talk about your project
It can be an idea still at design stage, or a project ready for production.
